Star of wonder
Make these beautiful hanging star decorations with just a few craft supplies and some wooden pegs.
- For each star, you’ll need 8 pegs. Take apart the pegs and use wood glue to stick the pieces of each peg back-to-back and leave to dry.
- Stick together 4 pairs at the rounded end to make a cross, then stick the last four pairs in the gaps to make a star shape.
- Give the star a coat of wood varnish, then tie a ribbon around one of the star’s points to hang.
Tip: Wrap a heavy hardback book in paper and lay it on the star to keep it in place while the glue dries. Make sure to wipe off the excess glue first.
