You will need
- Card boxes (we’ve used an empty tissue box, cereal box and other small boxes)
- Marker pen
- Wrapping paper
- Glue stick
- Sticky tape
Arrange your cardboard boxes in the drawer like a jigsaw, filling up the space. Use a marker pen to indicate where you will need to cut so the drawer can close easily.
Tip: Take a photo of the box arrangement at this stage so you can easily slot them into place afterwards.
Using scissors, cut the lid off the tissue box. Cut your other boxes at the same level you marked earlier.
Wrap the boxes in wrapping paper. Use sticky tape to reinforce the edges of the box to make it stronger – this will also help to prevent any tearing.
Slot all of your decorated boxes back into the drawer, using the photo you took earlier as a guide.
Fill the drawer with all your random knick knacks, and take a big sigh of relief at how organised and de-cluttered your drawer finally is!
