How to make a Santa Claus Christmas card

Try this step-by-step guide using leftover paper doilies to create Father Christmas's beard.

You will need:

  • Red card
  • Pink paper
  • Glue
  • 2 paper doilies
  • Scissors
  • Black pen
  • Red pencil or crayon

Step 1

Fold the red card in half and carefully cut a triangle shape out from the folded edge.

Step 2

Cut a circle from the pink paper for Santa’s face and glue it to the card. Cut a smaller circle out for his nose and leave to one side.

Step 3

Cut one of the doilies in half and glue one half on as Santa’s beard. Cut sections out of the other doily to form his moustache and hat edge and glue them in place. Cut a small circle out of the centre of a paper doily and stick it to the top of the hat. Glue the small pink circle on as Santa’s nose.

Step 4

Use a black pen to draw eyes and the red pencil to give some colour to Santa’s cheeks.
