You will need

  • A4 paper
  • Paper bag template – download here
  • Scissors
  • Small doily
  • Small peg or paper clip
  • Paper and pen
  • Double-sided tape (or glue)

Step 1

Using our template for guidance, cut out the bag shape from your A4 paper.

Step 2

Fold along the marked lines indicated on the template and make a crease.

Step 3

Use double-sided tape or glue on the three tabs. Fold over from left to right and connect the tab, pressing down firmly. Tuck in the bottom lip and secure in place.

Step 4

Fill the bag with small edible gifts then fold the top over to close the bag. Ensure any edible gifts are wrapped in a cellophane bag before putting into the paper bag to avoid any grease marks.

Make a name tag for the bag using brown wrapping paper or coloured card.

Step 5

Fold a doily in half over the top, and use a peg to secure it in place. Attach the personalised tag, to finish.

Tip: Use thick brown wrapping paper instead of plain A4 paper if you want a more rustic finish.
