You will need
- Wool (string or twine)
- PVA glue
Blow up the balloon to the desired bauble size and tie a knot. To achieve a nice round shape try blowing up the balloon to full size and slowly deflate.
Wrap the wool around the balloon and be sure to rotate it to achieve a random pattern. Leave enough wool at the top to loop and tie off at the end.
Make a 50:50 mix of PVA glue and water in a bowl. Dip and roll the balloon in the glue mixture.
Sprinkle silver glitter all over the string balloon and leave to dry overnight.
Once fully dry, carefully pop the balloon and remove it from a gap in the wool or string.
Using the excess wool, tie a loop and hang from your Christmas tree or statement branches.
Tip: For a bit of colour, mix some paint into your watery-glue mixture. You could also use superglue to stick sequins or gems in place.
