You will need:
Fold one doily in half and cut along the folded line.
Take one half of the doily and wrap it around the cupcake, securing with a piece of clear sellotape.
Wrap the other half around the other side and secure. You could wrap it at a slight angle to give it a fluted finish. For larger doilies, cut a strip out of the middle first so the case isn’t too high.
